PENTICTON CREEK REACH 3A LOWER

Reach 3A lower is located immediately downstream of the Nanaimo Ave Bridge. The project involved reconstruction of approximately 80m of creek by removing the concrete lining, widening the channel, placing large riprap to provide bank protection and placing large river cobble to create three riffle-pool sequences. To undertake the project, it was necessary to dewater the channel and relocate all fish.
