OKANAGAN RIVER RESTORATION

The Okanagan River Restoration project involved liaising with the client, conceptual designs, cost estimates, final design, regulatory approvals, complete construction and commissioning, and monitoring performance of a 1km long project that moved the straight 30m wide river into its original meander, incorporating two oxbows.

PROJECT SIZE: $1,700,000

TASKS INCLUDED:

• Design-build the project in accordance with all environmental and water quality requirements

• Staging construction to not disturb nesting birds or painted turtles while still completing within the fish work window
